Author's Note #1- This is in honor of St Patrick's Day. It's about a cute little leprechaun with a green mohawk, and a 15 year old girl. I know it's not really funny...but still! It's about a leprechaun making a new friend...and then what happens when he tells her that he's a leprechaun... Enjoy.

Leprechaun-Boy and His Green Mohawk

There once was a leprechaun named Devin. He was taller than most of the other leprechauns so when he turned 16 he was sent to live with the humans, because he could no longer fit into his leprechaun home. Being a leprechaun, he naturally had green hair—and being a teenage boy, he had decided to make it into a mohawk.

The day he arrived was March 17th, Saint Patrick's Day. He went to the school he would be attending for the next couple of years. This day was also another important day. It was a girl named Brittany's 15th birthday. When she saw this special leprechaun, she was in awe. His hair brought her attention at first, and she thought it was totally rad.

"I wonder how he got it to be so green," she whispered to the person next to her, which just so happened to be Danny. Danny was short, had black hair and he always wore a hat that said 'Jesus is my homeboy'.

"Who?" Danny asked, trying to look over everybody else, but not being able to because of his short-ness.

"The dude with the green mohawk...he reminds me of a leprechaun."

Danny shrugged and went to class, as did Brittany. Leprechaun-boy also went to his class.

"Two more classes after this one, and then you're done for the day," he told himself, walking into his 2nd hour—Career Preparation and Exploration (CPE) with Rohrkemper.

Mrs. Rohrkemper started the class by introducing him, "Today we have a new student, Devin Kelly. He is a sophomore."

Brittany looked up to see that it was her leprechaun-boy. The two shared a class, and soon they would share a hatred for the same thing. She was excited to have somebody decent in her class.

Devin was assigned a seat right next to Brittany. They got to talking and within a week became friends. The two shared a birthday, a class, and a hatred for that class.

Although they were friends, he knew he could never tell her that he really was a leprechaun. She might think he was crazy...or even worse, what if she believed him? Every time she joked about him being a leprechaun, he just laughed.

That was until one day when Brittany asked him how he kept his hair so green all the time, and where he bought the dye. It was then that he was forced to tell her the awful truth—he was a leprechaun. Throughout his childhood he had been told never to tell anybody about him being a leprechaun, and that horrible things would happen. Devin never understood why he couldn't tell anybody, or why it mattered—most leprechauns had never come into contact with humans anyway.

"Well, Brittany...there's something I have to tell you... My hair is naturally green. I'm a leprechaun," he spoke with a serious tone.

Brittany laughed, "I know! No, I'm serious though..."

"So am I...I'm a leprechaun. All leprechauns are born on St Patrick's Day and have green hair, I'm just abnormally tall."

Her laughter stopped and her face got more serious, "Oh..."

Devin's ear began to itch, and he went to itch it. It was shrinking, and becoming pointier. He was beginning to look like an actual leprechaun. After his ears became small and pointy, he became shorter and then his feet shrank, his hands, arms and head also. His hair began to look curly.

"What the..."

"...uh...I don't know..."

The cute little leprechaun boy was now a much smaller version of himself, with curly hair that was no longer a mohawk. Brittany frowned as she realized that he would have to go back to leprechaun land. She had lost an awesome friend, just because he happened to be a leprechaun.

Author's Note #2- Okay, not too good I know...but I just wanted to write something St Patty's Day related! Sorry that it sucked. :-/
