Paint Me With Black Wings

She wished the world
Would come crashing down.
Suffocating her in all its damaged pieces.
Shining light, where only death could reach her.

There's a soul searching
One should believe in,
Shown to all by a crystal dream.
And although we may have
Shattered all to pieces,
It all means the same thing.

Well,
I'm writing your tragedy tonight,
In blood because it's beautiful,
It's everything you want.
Except you were too afraid to ask.

Won't hand it on a silver platter,
She's wanted this for too long.
Letting it all hurt her,
Even though she'll start to bawl.

With a smile on her face
Tears tracing all her grace
Infatuated by this blade
All seeping warm trails
Across the human race.

Here we are,
A shallow dream.
Painting portraits
That never gleam.
In colors
That always seem to bleed.
