Is it hard for you to wake up hearing these things and seeing these things?
I know how you feel, but itÕs all real. And itÕs all true.

Dogs die in the freezing city,
As people are trapped in a burning building.
And the blind are not wanting, but theyÕre given pity on the sidewalks.
But a PresidentÕs out there, ruining a worldÕs super power.

Fucking people being washed away by the polluted water.
Now the water is attacking California as it separates from the U.S.
And the Angeles of the City, are flying away while the celebrities donÕt even bother.
But a PresidentÕs still here, making the hugest mess.

Is it hard for you to wake up hearing these things and seeing these things?
I know how you feel, but itÕs all real. And itÕs all true.
You can cry, and whine, and scream for help, but no one will save you.
Because they still think, ÔIgnorance is blissÕ.

Sirens going on and off, passing you by,
As the things-you-have-to-do-to-be-cool-list becomes endless,
Which often ends to teenagers saying good-bye.
But a PresidentÕs still repeating, ÒGod bless AmericaÓ, now itÕs become meaningless.

Is it hard for you to wake up hearing these things and seeing these things?
I know how you feel, but itÕs all real. And itÕs all true.
You can cry, and whine, and scream for help, but no one will save you.
Because they still think, ÔIgnorance is blissÕ.

A President is walking up and down different streets,
Seeing that the word ÒsufferÓ is written everywhere,
Hearing people suffer, as if ÒsufferÓ is talking,
And the sky is blackened with clouds of gray air,
He tells himself what a good job he has done and gives himself a pat on the back.
But a PresidentÕs still making ineffective economic policies,
Based only on giving tax cuts to the rich.
