The Rain is soaking my face

Everywhere, in my eyes, in my mouth

The rain is soaking my soul

Tasting the cold within me

It makes me shiver

I want to cry, but the tears won't come

It's so cold

And so

Dark here

I wish it would stop

I listen for someone

Anyone

As it gets colder

I can't even feel the rain now

The things I see get darker

I try to call out

But

No one comes

Is this the end?

But I'm so young

NO one is coming

I can't see anymore

Wait

I hear footsteps

Hurrying footsteps

They sound too much

Like the one I love

The footsteps have stopped

I try to see who it is

But I'm too numb

The rain is gone

And it's warm

I've been saved…
