Urine of all species is the nicest color yellow,
While fuzzy mold on week-old bread is green.
When one gets a papercut, the blood that's seen is red,
And deep brown is the shade of rotten beans.

The inside of a sheep's eye is a pearlescent blue,
And boiled octopi and squid are white.
The guts of smashed up caterpillars is three hues of orange,
Purple is when chloride permanganate ignites.

When your fingers get frostbite, they turn greenish black,
The color of new flesh is a soft pink,
The skin tone of a dead person is a pallid gray,
