Billy's Story
"All in a day's work ma'am. Don't thank me, I'm just doing my job" The little boy said as he handed the lady's purse back to her.
"Oh how can i ever repay you?" the woman said, looking down into his small blue eyes.
"No payment is necessary. I only need the satisfaction of a good deed being done." He said, sticking his chest out proudly.
"Oh, you're so cute too!" she said as she pinched his cheek
He sighed sadly. Why did they always do that? Yea, sure he was 5 years old, but did that mean that he had to be treated like one? Even after he rescued the woman's purse? You'd think she would treat him with more class than that. He wishes he could grow up to be a real super hero, fighting the big villians...

"Doctor...What's wrong with him?" Billy's mother said to the stiff backed, doctor. He didn't look as if he cared at all. The doctor looked down at her with emotionless eyes.
"Billy suffered a head injury causing severe brain damage. Do you know what might have caused the injury at all?" The doctor asked.
"No, I don't, I wasn't with him. I'll have to ask my husband, Billy's father, when he gets back with the food. I can't call his cell phone. He doesn't like it when I call unless it's an emergency. Um, can I see Billy?" She had been looking at the doctor for some sort of sign as to how Billy was really doing, but she hadn't seen anything. She really hoped Henry would get back with the food. Her stomach was starting to rumble. Why wasn't the doctor answering her right away? "Doctor? Can I see my son please?"
"Oh, well I'm debating that at the moment. You see, Billy is in a coma, and we arn't sure when he will awake..." He looked at her sympathetically.
Billy's mother couldn't understand. She had just seen him running around playing his game. He had just hugged her good bye not even 3 hours ago. How could this happen to her little boy? He will wake up, she told herself, my boy will wake up and be my little super hero again.
