I think some things are so sweet.

They make me want to laugh and want to cry,

Want to smile and want to sigh.

The little insights into the lives of others,

The wonderful bit and pieces of their dreams,

The last remnants of their childish schemes.

In the end, for all the happiness it brings me,

And all the joy I wish those whose words I have read,

Still I am jealous of the things that are said.

How cruel and selfish can I be,

To envy those who I love

and who are like family to me.

So lonely, lonely, I turn back to my path,

Rejoicing and weeping all at once.

So happy are those around me I cannot help but be glad,

Yet so envious am I that I still remain sad.
