Yeah, Poetry still isn't my thing, but I'm trying some of it. If any of you have seen Schindler's List, you'll understand this poem a lot better.

I Pardon You

He told me that if someone makes a mistake,

I should "pardon" them.

He told me that if someone is lazy,

I should "pardon" them.

He told me that instead of yelling, beating, or killing them,

I should "pardon" them.

A boy drops my saddle; I pardon him.

A girl is smoking on the job; I pardon her.

A boy can not remove the stain from the bathtub.

I pardon him.

I look in the mirror and see my reflection.

"I pardon you."

I run to the window and shoot the boy.

If they can get away with things by being "pardoned",

Can't I?
