As I Fall

I'm falling

Into infinite darkness

The silence here

Is deafening

I see nothing

But a light above me

And I know

That's where the world is

Where I should be

But I'm not

The people stare down

Onto me

I know what they're thinking

They don't want me anymore

They pushed me in

But they'd kill themselves

Before they'd admit it

And they smile inwardly

As I fall…
