The Stranger in Me

The reflection in the mirror belongs to someone I don't know,

How the eyes linger with sadness,

When the smile fades away to tears.

Where laughter is never heard by anyone,

The hair as red as a flame fades to a dull brown,

O, how does the stranger looks like me?

A side of that is still unknown,

The side I hide from the world,

Only one side that I am never allowed to see.

Who is this stranger looking back at me?

Only the reflection is different,

A glow and smile are on her.

Perhaps maybe the answer to that question,

Is that is no stranger at all,

It is just me.
