And Her Wishes Never Came True
Come to appreciate this life…
They say,
You're a mentally imbalanced one.
Just medicate her more, pop her full of drugs.
Ignore her like we do,
Yeah- it's most of the time.
But in her wake she'll leave a note.
And in black Ink she'll have spoke:
I wish you had cared a little more about me.
Shared all the happy dreams that were about me.
Danced with me on your wedding, heck even around me.
Said to the world, you knew who I am.
But God damn.
Come to appreciate this life…
They say,
She ran off- just like her mother.
Probably got lost and turned another.
Not very bright- just like her father.
It's no wonder she's so dumb.
The police will soon come find her,
Then she'll see….
But in her wake she'll leave a note.
And in black Ink she'll have spoke:
I wish you had cared a little more about me.
Shared all the happy dreams that were about me.
Danced with me on your wedding, heck even around me.
Said to the world, you knew who I am.
But God damn.
Come to appreciate this life…
They say,
Police found her in a boat.
Just sitting scrawling notes.
Said, they were about the world,
And how her family treated her.
Said, she had wrote to Jesus Christ
Asking him to bless her twice
On her journey; to find the people that loved her.
But in her wake she'll leave a note.
And in black Ink she'll have spoke:
I wish you had cared a little more about me.
Shared all the happy dreams that were about me.
Danced with me on your wedding, heck even around me.
Said to the world, you knew who I am.
But God damn!
Come to appreciate this life.
Learn, sometimes you win, sometimes you die.
In the end, hopefully you'll have survived.
