What A Pity
I walked to your grave,
Rose clutched in my fist
Blood from the thorns
Hitting my wrist
Eyes full of nothing
Not hate, love, nor despair
Only empty
Nothing but air
No crying took place
Not a single tear wept
As I threw the bloodied rose
Down where you slept
Gently it fell
Gracefully it flew
Containing the last bits of my heart
That you once knew
Too bad you never saw
A pity you could never see
How my heart beat only for you
Ah, c'est la vie...
