"Kian, my apprentice soon you're training will begin, now all is needed is your sacrifice and that other little favour I ask of you." said the grand master vampire.

Kian grinned slightly he knew what was left to do; this was the best part of the training to become a master vampire. The kill.

He would have to go to earth and bring back a sacrifice to kill in front the council and then his full power would be given to him.

"Lord Harlan, I have been waiting for this day since the day I was born, my first kill will be rememberable, I will take great satisfactory in killing a human." Kian replied then he turned to leave the room

Kian materialized an apple and bit into and started toward the door before the council even told him his charge, the rest of the coven watched as he left the room.

"To bad it isn't going to be today, I've got something else to do first, and then I'll do that, cool two kill with one stone or bite" Kian muttered. Kian walked down the dark tower to the portal dungeon. Lord Harlan had informed Kian of what he was meant to do. He was meant to bring back a lost soul, a girl whose mother was killed by a vampire bite while giving birth to her 17 Years ago. But the girl's power had just awoken now, and the council couldn't afford for their secrets to get out now. He had been told to bring her so she can be welcomed into the coven. He opened a piece of paper with her name and address on it.

"Well, Marianna, cute name" he said then he scrunched up the paper and open the door to the portal dungeon.

Various portals all different types to all seven dimensions, Kian tipped his head to the side

"Now which one was I meant to use?" he questioned himself

He then turned to see a female vampire coming out of one of the portals. Her red hair was trailing down her back and clashing with her extremely pale skin. She had blood dripping from her pink lips. Her hand on her hip slightly.

"Hello vestia "he said and gave her a lust, wild passionate kiss.

"Where are you going lover?" she asked

"Earth" he replied

"To do what?" she screeched, her green eyes going a deep colour filled with rage.

"V, you have started your training allow me to start mine, okay" he shouted as he grabbed her arm tightly, she wiped her mouth and wrapped her arms around him.

"It's like hunting season down their baby, hunters are going crazy we have lost 3 trainees in the last 2 months" she said

He looked down at her since she was shorter than him; while he was 6"0 she was only 5"6.

He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her on the head

"Bye vestia, see you tomorrow" he said prying her off himself and waking

"Tomorrow, a whole day in the human realm how will you survive?" she sobbed and clinged to his arm once more.

"I'm half viraninan vampire and half human, I'll survive, now get off" he said and he walked into the human realm portal

Vestia wiped the tears from her face, and as she turned around to leave the dungeon she was gripped on by the neck and smacked into the wall, young female with black short bob and an evil grin on her face were gripping her neck. Lord Harlan was standing behind her.

"Vestia its kind you care but we can't have you distracting Kian from his destiny, vestia" Lord Harlan whispered

He nodded at the girl and left the room. Vestia flinched she knew what was going to happen. She knew! All she had to was look at the fire in the girl's purple deep eyes. She cried out in pain as she bit into her neck, her emerald eyes turning an ashy grey, her skin dehydrating, her bones becoming tender and soft.

"Aaargggghh" she cried out

As vestia began to weaken and die, the girl whispered in her ear

"Oh, we having been properly introduced, I'm Sapphire," said the girl

Vestia's body diminished into ashes and disappeared into the wind. Then she left the room, lord Harlan was waiting outside.

"What are you going to say when people ask?" sapphire asked

"Simple, she's doing me a favour, and barely anyone will ask, she barely has family" he replied "now you will enrol at the academy as a new student, enjoy yourself"

"Okay master" she said and she left

"Everything is going to plan, now Kian don't screw it up," he whispered to himself then he broke out in a deep cackle then suddenly stopped

"Hmm, how cliché" he said and he left the tower
