OK, I'm an awful evil horrid person for not updating in like…months. You can hate me all you want. Again, I apologize for the wait. I hope you like this, kinda.

Kin's P.O.V.
It had been three days since Haze had walked in on us (me and Zaine) and I felt horrid about it. We'd tried to explain it, but neither of us really knew what had happened, so now rage and pain lurked like spirits through the halls of Zaine's house. I couldn't help but cringe every time I saw Hazes dull eyes. He would sit and gaze out the window like a beautiful porcelain doll for hours, then get up, walk through a few halls only to sit at a new window. He never ate meals with us anymore, and I had it on good authority (Ginny, Zaines maid and cook) that Haze barely ate more then two bites of every meal before pushing the food away.
After one such report I decided I couldn't take this anymore. Haze was going to kill himself at this rate. I spent the next few hours hunting Zaine down to have a good talk with him. I found him sitting in his study staring at a book. I sat at the chair in front of his desk and stared at him, waiting for him to notice me. When he didn't after fifteen minutes, I sighed.
"Are you as sorry about this as I am?" My voice was quiet and raspy. None of us had spoken in past few days. When he looked up and caught my eyes with his own, I knew I'd asked a stupid question. Zaine's beautiful eyes were filled with anguish beyond my own. Sighing again I got up, walked around Zaines desk and grabbed his wrist, pulling him up.
"Come on, we have to do something. He's going to kill himself or leave before me and you come up with a good explanation as to why we did what we did."
I walked along the halls of Zaines house dragging Zaine behind me, not noticing any of the décor as I usually did. I was on a mission and gods help me if anyone tries to stop me. When we got to Haze's door, I didn't bother knocking. He wouldn't have let us in anyways. What we saw when I opened the door made my heart stop.
End P.O.V.
A.N. OK, so I could have left it here. But I don't want to. It's been so long since I've worked on this and I'm on a roll, so I'm going to continue. If you're faint of heart and don't like gore, please skip till the next AN. Thanx.
Zaines P.O.V.
I will never, ever forget the way Kin screamed when we saw Haze, laying on the floor, wide eye gazing unseeing at the door, in a pool of his own blood. For a minute I thought he was dead, truly dead. Gone from my grasp before I could get the chance to say sorry, leaving me again without the chance to say goodbye and tell him how much I needed him. But then I saw his chest rise and fall, barely, and one of his fingers twitch. Kin was on the floor next to me, sobbing loudly into his hands, his whole body shaking violently at the force of his sobs.
"GINNY! CALL AN ABULENCE NOW!"
I acted before I could even think about it, running over to Hazes body, ripping off my shirt as I went to wrap around his wrists.
"Kin, give me your shirt. I need to stop the blood." The sobs stopped for a few second before continuing, louder and more painful sounding then before. "Kin. NOW!" I turned to look at him and my heart nearly broke. Kin looked so lost and broken as he took off his shirt, shaking so bad he could barely undo it. He threw it at me the curled around himself again, sobbing more forcefully then before.
It was a full ten minutes before the ambulance came and got Haze. By the time they gotten there he was getting colder, but Id kept shirts around his wrists, held there by my belt. It was another ten minutes before he got to the hospital without Kin and I. After that, it was a full hour before I heard the phone ring. But I didn't answer. I was holding Kin, trying to calm him down. It was another four hours before we went to see Haze in the hospital, lying in white bed sheets, nearly blending in with them.
I would never, ever forget the way Kin screamed when he we saw Haze laying on the floor, staring at the door, in a pool of his own blood.
End P.O.V.
A.N. OK, so drastic turn of events. In case you didn't read the above blurb, Haze tried to kill himself. But Zaine and Kin got him and now the both feel like monkey doo-doo.
General P.O.V.
The next 2 months were hellish for Kin and Zaine. During the week Kin would spend the days at Hazes bedside, watching for any sign of life other then the artificial breathing. At night Zaine would come, watch Haze for a while in silence then he would read to him. He would read him anything he could get his hands on. Then, after a few hours of reading, Zaine would fall asleep sitting in the chair next to Hazes bed, hand curled around Hazes, head resting on the young mans leg.
During the weekend they would both be there. Kin would sit with Haze during the day, and Haze at night. It was by pure chance that they were both awake when Haze showed his first sign of waking up. That had been on July 13th. Three days later his eye fluttered open for the first time in nearly two and a half months.
A.N. That is the end of the LONGEST chapter I think I've ever written (1,025 words). cries Poor Haze. He's so depressing. Anywho, please review and whatnot.
