Something to Remember
It is hard to say of which I lost first, my memory or my mind.

Regardless, I know now that I have neither.

It seems the space that once held reminiscences of my life and others in it, is now replaced with imagination, and I sometimes question which I would rather have.
Chronicles of the sea, and creatures with iron skin and barbed teeth

Substitute what was once reality.

Romantic candle lit skies and picnics on wings of red ravens displace

The events of my life, that took place.

Words slide, down the sides

Of my lips, but fuse to the inside

When I attempt to redeem,

Old memories.

I have learnt not to ponder on what was,
with both luck and misfortune I don't know chaos,

of life and love.
