Alright, apparently my well-intentioned attempts to create a neutral zone have failed. Mainly because some authors on this site are too arrogant and too fat-headed to read an essay for what it is.

I'm sorry that I have to insult you people to get your attention, but it seems like FictionPress has officially become a sixth grade environment. So, now that I do have the attention of you, my reader, I suppose I should start by denouncing some preconceived notions.

First of all, I am not Raptor7435 using a different pen name. I have never met him before in my life, my writing style is entirely different than his, and I am not new to FictionPress. This account was created about 5 days ago; however it is not my only account. I created this account merely to voice my opinion, because, honestly speaking, I didn't really want most of the people who were going to read this, to review my other work.

Secondly, I'd like to take a chance to respond to some of my wonderful reviews:

Aella – Please, go to your English teacher, give her a box of Kleenex. Tell her I sincerely apologize that she must waste her tears unnecessarily. This essay was one of opinion. In order to generate an opinion, one, on most occasions, would have to think of their opinion first. So I apologize if my thinking, and subsequent voicing of such, disturbed you in anyway. As for organization and talking down to the reader, this is almost supposed to be a parody of the harsh cruelty most people on this site tend to leave in their negative reviews. Im attempting to show how uncalled for and stupid it looks on a larger scale…actually, consider buying an extra box of Kleenex for yourself while you're at it. Finally, I know Sarasa's essay did not mention myself or Raptor. I didn't mention their essay for that reason. I mentioned it simply because it was a differing viewpoint, that's it.

M. Flames – I believe its whininess, unless you were trying to spell whines. Also, that was kind of my point. There fervor that some authors and put into their reviews on this site is ridiculous and so I suppose you could say to some extent it is parody worthy. (See above comment)

Tiefling – I would like to thank you. I feel, in all honesty that you are one of the only people who read my essay, looked at it objectively, and responded with how you truly felt. You cited quotes, but not to belittle me. You took them time to really voice your opinion without the need to be harsh or negative about it, so thank you. I'd also like to make some clarifications, because I think you mistook some of the things I was saying. When I mention "you" in the essay it is not one person in general but a collective group of individuals I have seen from time to time that leave reviews like the two I quote in my essay. You're also right about being opinionated helping an author. I am a journalist, so trust me I understand that, but I meant more in the terms of reviewing people's work. Don't be opinionated, be suggestive. Finally I NEVER said FanFiction is not hard work. I am currently in the middle of writing a FanFiction myself, and it is hard as hell. I was simply saying that you don't need to be a fan of something to enjoy it, and since I'm not a fan of Star Wars, and was still able to enjoy it, that, to me, proves it isn't totally FanFiction.

Darthen – I would like to thank you as well. I agree with you on many different aspects of your review. If people would take the time to really read my essay though, they would see that I agree that Star Wars: Reality is FanFiction and should not have been posted on FictionPress. I'm only asking that instead of being negative towards Raptor, or other writers who made the same mistake, that you simply report them to the admin, and leave them alone. That way the correct course of action takes place, and nobody is hurt on a personal level.

Raptor – I'm sorry, but you need a serious chill pill. You have been dealt a lot of grief, but you have to admit that you have dealt a lot back. Take a breath, lighten up on these defensive stories you are writing (I've looked at your profile), and let this knot untangle itself…

Ebonyheart and Mbwun – Thank you as well for actually reading my essay through before formulating an opinion. I appreciate that you are in agreeance with me.

And finally, last but not least…Sarasa:

How could I not save you for last, considering you were so nice to devote a whole chapter to little ol' me? Now, I hate to burst your bubble, but no, I am not Raptor, or one of his friends. This account is merely an alias so that I don't have to share any of my other work with authors like you, who cannot see beyond their own pride when reviewing other peoples hard work.

You commented, in your review about the copyright stamp on the bottom of the page of each chapter of a story on FictionPress. I agree with you, because F/P copies people's work for them, it is wrong for people to use work that is not their own in conjunction with their own fiction. In fact, in my essay I state that I feel Raptor's story doesn't belong here any longer than the Admin here will allow it too. The only point, as I stated above, that I've been trying to make is a rebuttal to your own. People are too harsh on writers who make mistakes like Raptor did. There is no need to harass them for it. Just report them to the admin and leave them alone. That's the reason we have admin, so they can handle it professionally when obviously others cannot.

So I got a C- or a D on your grade scale, hm? Do you mind my asking exactly what you grade on? I mean, I'm almost 100 positive you aren't a teacher…I mean you lack the human compassion necessary to be one. Oh, and I see you're atheist…hmm…I don't see how that helps your argument a all, but then again it doesn't matter because…well…no one cares.

Finally, I want to say that I never had anything against you on a personal level. We have differing viewpoints on the same subject, that its. I feel that if we continue on in this nature we are never going to get anywhere, so I think it best we either come to terms here or part as enemies (which I mean in it's loosest sense, of course).
