One Morning I Had Some Thoughts About Nature
Emilie Aurel, 24605
A dewy summer morning. Entrancing.
Soft sunlight searing through
empty skies full of blue.
Like waking to a dream.
Zephyrs softly rustling leaves
of the endless growing trees that are
falling on the boulevard
in a lonely town beside the sea.
Crashing waves paint the coast
with a soft, slow rhythm.
The tide can tell many secrets
to those inclined to listen.
I look out my window, beholding the rapture
of an ordinary morning; glorified.
Nature sure has a way
of giving her children something to think on.
