ACT 2

The room was barley lit; it was dark, cold, and smelled of fear. It was death with four walls and it was pains box. A fourteen-year-old Dai sat on the bed, knees to his chest prying that tonight would be different. The door opened and with it came an almost blinding light. A figure stepped in and leaned against the wall watching him, with unseen eyes. The door shut and the man walked towards him.

He shrank back, silently pleading to be left alone. The man sat on the bed and smoked a cigarette, from the flame of the match along with what light there was coming from a high window, Dai saw a man about twenty-years-old, with hair that hung in his eyes and smelt of expensive cologne. He took a few drags and looked Dai over again, who in turn averted his eyes. The man tilted his face up gently and put the filter of the cigarette in it. Obediently, Dai inhaled and the exhaled. With a smirk the man put it out and then leaned in to kiss Dai, who shrunk back again and pulled his face away.

"What's your name?" the man asked.

"D-Dai." He whispered.

"Boku wa Sato, hajimemashite." (My name's Sato, nice to meet you.)

They sat in silence for a few minutes. The next thing Dai new he was, pressed against the bed with Sato's lips pressed against his. Dai whimpered, though he knew this would happen. It always happened, and tonight would be no different. He felt Sato's hand between his legs and his tongue slip in his mouth. He started struggling but was no mach for the bigger man.

Some how in a matter of minutes, Dai was naked and on his stomach. He felt a tongue caress his back side, and whimpered again; it slowly moved up and tasted his neck.

Suddenly the door was bashed in and Yuki came running in. His eyes weren't happy, at first they were shocked, then slowly they got angry, until they looked ready to kill.

"Get the hell off of him!"

"What the fuck?"

Suddenly Yuki was throwing Sato around the room. Dai put his cloths on hastily and ran to Yuki, just as he was about to kill the man. Dai stepped in front of him.

"Big Brother, don't!"

"Move out of the way Dai! Trash like that doesn't disserve to live!"

"Please, don't, let's just go." Dai tugged at his hand. "Please, listen to me."

"Hey was going to-"

"I know, but he's not the only one come on, Yuki-kun. Please." He begged. Yuki nodded and they ran out, hand in hand, they didn't stop running until they were fare away. Dia looked at Yuki and grew shocked. He was crying.

"Yuki-kun?" suddenly his face was pressed into the soft cloth of Yuki's shirt.

"Why?"

"Dad told me to. Even if I refused, he'd manage to get me their some how." He muttered.

The grip on Dai's body tightened at the words.

"Why are you crying?"

"I couldn't save you."

"You save me every day."

Dai awoke from the memory as a loud noise erupted. He was in class, and the loud sound had been the bell. What had caused the memory? It was one he hadn't thought of in a wile, one he wished to forget. He went to his locker and grabbed his guitar, walking hastily to the park.

XXX

Once at the park he lost him self in the music. The music some how made every thing make sense, and made every thing all rite again. Yuki wasn't leaving him, his bad child hood never happened, and he'd be able to play in a grate band were every one would fall in love with music. For a moment, every thing was perfect.

However that peaceful world was shattered when his hour was up and he left for home. Home was, were ever Big brother was. Would home be in America now? He wondered what it would be like to come home and the apartment is empty. Empty of good smells, sound, happiness, and even the presence of another person. Empty of Big Brother.

Dai looked over his shoulder to see a man fallowing him. He had been fallowing him since he left the park. Shrugging it off he walked across the street to his apartment and left him on the street.

Dai slipped of his shoes and flipped on the TV. Yuki wasn't off of work at the bookshop yet. Flipping threw the channels he landed on Utaban, a popular talk show in Japan hosted by Ishobishi 'Taka-san.' Dai turned up the volume, even though it was a re-run.

"Today we have some very special gusts with us, but I'm sure you already know that!" Taka-san was saying, just as soon as the words were out, squeals and screams were let out. Of course they knew who it was, this re-run was a year old.

"Now, now, with out further a due, I give you the one, the only, DISTURBANCE!"

Ear splitting screams erupted as the band came running on stage, waving and throwing up peace sine's, laughing, and the drummer Kay-san turned a kart weal, making his long blood red spikes touch the ground, all the members were dressed in visual kei make up and were black leather. Dai loved them, they were what music was about, they showed their love in the way they played, every thing perfect and beautiful, music was there life as was Dai's.

But the band didn't seem to have the hart to play any more. Not after Yoshiro-san was killed in a car accident not to long before the show was aired. The show was aired to tell Japan of the 'vacation' they were taking because of the death of there fellow band member and friend.

"Well, we feel it's best to take thing's slow for a wile. You know, just to get things in order." The lead singer, Ki-san was saying, he had a long braid witch went to his mid back, and was a poison green; witch was tied with a black satin ribbon. Long bangs framed his oval shaped face painted white; his gray eyes were the color of a stormy sky.

"We can understand that, cant we audience?" Asked Taka-san, he was greeted with more screaming. "Just as long as you aren't baking up the band, I think we can manage a few months just listening to our CD's and you guys on the radio for a wile."

"We are definitely not braking up, were at the top of out game man, and besides, Yoshi-kun would have wanted it to go on." Keiji-san said shrugging. He was tall and had long blond and gold hair witch hid one of his dark brown eyes.

"Plus, we enjoy playing music to much to let it go when were just getting started." A mystical voice said, the owner was that of the keyboarder, Arata, who was small and feminine, with more curves than Dia and shoulder length purple plum hair and chestnut colored eyes. He looked like a porcelain doll with a white face, red lips and eye shadow.

"Ah, I see, so are there any new plans to find a new guitarist for the band?" Taka-san asked. The band looked at each other.

"We haven't decided that yet Taka-san. It's to soon. We have our base, Zen-kun, so we may leave it at that." Tamo-san said, he was the violinist, and any other orchestra instrument that was required. His baby blue hair spiked into little pyramids on his head, black eyes peered out at the camera.

Zen-san nodded, his black hair shaggy and in his dark eyes. He was always the quite one, not shy, but preserved; only speaking when time called for it. Smart man, less you said less trouble you would get in.

"Neh, and we have to find some one who really loves music just like us! You know? It's not about hanging out with a cool band and party's it's about the music we make together. There aren't many people who can be music. Not like me any ways!" Kay-san said, in his hyperactive voice and way, throwing up the piece sine.

Tamo-san rolled his eyes. "Please not every thing is about you Kay-kun."

"Well excuse me! Ki will you pull that bass bow out of Tamo's ass?"

"Che! You moron!" Tamo-san said before chasing Kay-san around the couch were the band members were sitting.

"ZEN-KUN HHHHHEEEELLLLPPPPP ME! Yelled Kay-san. Zen-san tripped him making Tamo-san trip to. The crowed laughed at the site of them. Kay-was on his back, and Tamo-san lay on top of him.

"Tamo-kun please not until we get back to the studio, there are virgin eyes out there!" Kay-san said.

Tamo-san rolled his eyes again. "Please like they haven't seen you try to rape poor Arata-kun last time we had a concert!"

Squeals erupted making Dai get a head ach. The door opened and Yuki came in, holding a bag of take out up.

"Hey hun, I got us some food, I'm really tired." He sat down and started taking out boxes of food and sat down on the couch next to Dai. Dai folded his legs up next to him and leaned on Yuki, watching the show and eating. The show went to previews not long after that.

"How was school?" Yuki asked taking food from one of Dai's boxes.

"Hoi hoi!" (Hey, hey!) He said glaring at him as Yuki set it on his tong.

"School was ok, now give me back my chicken!"

"Yuki held out his tong mockingly.

"I'm not afraid to get it back." He said glaring at him and setting his chopsticks and food down. Yuki pulled his tong back into his mouth, but Dai pressed his lips against Yuki's and slipped his tong into the older boys mouth, fishing out the meat. He of course one, and ate it happily while smirking. Then just because he felt like it, he brushed his lips against Yuki's again then pulled back.

They finished eating and teasing each other playfully, then Dai put the food away, and was getting ready to sit down when the doorbell rang. Yuki got up turned off the TV and walked to the door.

"Hoi, boku wa Toshi Zinan," (hello, my names is Toshi Zinan.) "Is Daiske Koru here?"

"Oui." (Yes) Yuki let who ever was asking for me in, It was a tall broad man in his early thirties, He looked American yet his Japanese was excellent. Two men of Japanese descent fallowed him.

"Would you like some tea?" Yuki asked the strangers.

They nodded, and with a questioning glance at Dai, he left for the kitchen.

"Dai-san, it is nice to meet you." Toshi said bowing. Dai lifted his head a little to see the man towering over the couch. He looked kind, and elegant to, but masculine. With out realizing it, his green eyes seemed to be searching Toshi's soul. It shook up the older man. It was as if this child could see every sin he had ever created, and every good he had done. Then as if deciding he was ok, Dai nodded his head in a bow.

"Have a seat, please." Dai said. His voice surprising the men, in all the time they had been watching him, they had never heard him speak. His voice was deep and silky smooth. It was neither cold nor warm, but it did have feeling.

"What is it, that you want off me? It must be something of grate importance to have your men fallow me." He said.

"WHAT!? H-how did you no about that?" A vain in the mans head was twitching.

"Simple Toshi-san, I saw them." He said shrugging.

(Chibi form of every one.) "Please boss we tried out hardest! We didn't know he could see us!"

"I'll deal with you two later." He growled, just as Yuki came in with the tea, both Yuki and Dai had a sweat drop. (End of chibi form)

Yuki poured the tea, and sat down behind Yuki, who drank his tea with out a word.

"Well, you are correct, what I have to ask is very important. I have been listening to you play for a week and a half. I was informed that if I went to the Chiyo Park I would find a boy who could play the guitar like and angel. Well I got there and I did find you, but you were –still are- very young. Well, I kept searching and I couldn't find any one who could hold a candle to you. So here I am. I am sere you've heard of the band called Disturbance?"

Dai nodded, witch made Yuki laugh.

"Are kidding? Dai practically worships them." He said rolling his eyes. I hit him gently as warning but what he said was true. I did. I loved every thing about them. My room was plastered with posters of bands, but theirs was the most on my walls and ceiling. I tried to get better at playing so that I could at least try to be as good as them.

"Well then I'm sure you no that one of there band members had departed."

A quick nod.

"Well then, I want you to replace the guitarist." He said. The room fell silent; Dai made a choking sound and said,

"M-me? Play with Disturbance? Are you series?"

"Yes, I wouldn't joke about something like this. You are very talented and dedicated. It's hard to find both of those. I think you would make a nice addition. And since your brother is leaving for the sates, you would need a way to support your self, and what better way than this?"

"What about school?" Yuki asked.

"Well. We have a school that can bend hours so that he can attend and then also go to rehearsals among other things. We won't go on tour till summer vacation, so that would work. I admit the school is different but we have the best staff possible, and it's worked out so that there will be no strain on him. We will also have some one accompany him, if you wish it."

"Big Brother stop being such a Big Brother!" Hissed Dai. Yuki only smirked at him, making the smaller boy glare at him.

"Toshi-san," Dai asked quietly, "Wont they mind, if I join? I couldn't do it if they'd despise the music."

Toshi looked taken aback, Dai had said music, not him. The fact let him know he had made the rite choice all. "I'm not going to lie to you, it may be a bit tense between you and the band for a few days, but that's only because they need to get used to you. You are taking there friends spot in the band after all, so it may need to take some adjustment. But I tell you now; they will not take it out on your music. Not with the way you can play. They love music just as much as you."

Dai nodded, and leaned against Yuki, tilting his head backwards to see him. "What should I do?" He whispered looking for an answered. Yuki was always pointing him in the rite direction. But this time, he only smiled down at the little boy and said,

"What ever you want to do."

Dai took a deep breath and looked at Toshi. With a slight bow of the head he said softly, "I would be honored to accept your offer."
