Said Wynter to the seasons
Let me go
And grace the world
With soft and lustrous snow
But seasons laugh
Cold magic is long spent
And heat's thick monotone
Shall not relent
And so wept Wynter
Icy tears of woe
But frozen tears are useless
Without snow
So once again
Sad Wynter spoke her plea
And once again
Harsh seasons failed to see
Transparent beauty
Faith is found in cold
But cold is fleeting
And long love soon grows old
When faith is lost
All cold must cease to be
And heat shall bring
It's wave of tyranny
But seasons welcome heat
With blinded eye
And do sit idle
As mournful Wynter dies
