Karma
You're replaying a piece of a song in your head, over and over again, as you walk down the street. You can't stop think about those few words. A part of the chorus to the song you'd heard a little while ago. But it just kept you going. 'Karma' that song was the perfect way to describe what you love doing.
You're walking down the street way. It's not an overly crowded street, but it's not fully empty either. It's still not the best street to be walking down alone at night though. You walk the street slowly, humming to yourself as you make your way home. You see other people out the corner of your eye. Their all hurrying along. Not cause its dark outside though, only because it's cold.
You keep walking down the street. Starting to sing some of the words to the song inside of your head.
What goes around,
Comes around.
What goes up,
Must come down.
You hear the echo of your foot steps in the air. You pull your coat tighter around you, and try to ignore it. The harder you try though the loud the echoing seems to become. You trip up on your footing purposely. Just to see if you're being paranoid or if there is someone actually behind you. When you here the footsteps continue as you trip, you just keep walking only a little faster now.
The other footsteps speed up as well though. You sigh; this will be harder than you thought. You casually cross the street. Looking at the guy, out of the corner of your eye, as you do. When he follows you across the street, your heart just skips a beat. He's walking even faster now and comes up beside you now.
"Hello… what you're name? Mine's is Gary." he says softly. You look up and just stare at him. Trying not to talk or show any type of emotion in your face. "Incapable of speaking?" he asks with a slight smirk.
"No… are you capable of not following me?" you say with a nasty tone. He looks at you in slight shock. But then smiles lightly.
"Who says that I'm following you? Now am I going to get a name?" he asks looking down at you with a crooked smile.
You mumble something that sounds like Carmen.
"Carmen, that's a pretty name. Well, Carmen, how do you know that I'm not just going into one of these apartment buildings?" he asked as though he's truly interested in your answer.
"The fact that you stopped to speak to me, and are getting unbelievably close for a stranger." You say moving over a little. He looks at you surprised by your boldness.
"How do you know that I'm just not friendly…? I could-" You cut him off tired of this game.
"Look, I don't know you. And I don't want to get to know you. So unless you want to die tonight get away from me." You snap at him. You've angered him by this. He grabs you and rams you into a wall.
"Now that's not polite manners, is it?" he whispers in your ear. Coming closer to you, so he can inhale your scent.
"Only towards you." You growl. He looks at you, stunned that you're still so fearless.
"You're a cocky one aren't you?" he mumbles. Then licks the side of your face. You groan that's just wrong.
"What are you a dog?" I spit. He glares at you. But goes one smelling and tasting you. You're getting fairly bored. You lift up your legs, and wrap them around his torso.
"What the! What are you doing!" he yells trying to back out of your grip.
"I gave you a warning." You said nonchalantly. "Now I'm just bored. You amateurs disgust me." Then grab his mouth pull his jaw open quick and hard. He screams in pain. You're fairly sure that you've at least broken his jaw in several places.
He has tears streaming his face. "Uh! I hate it when they cry!" you groan. And push him onto the ground. Sitting on his stomach Indian style. "You know, I thought that you'd be so much more of a challenge." You sigh, giving him a tap on the chest. "I mean when I watched you all those other days, you were just so precise. Truly brought a tear to my eye." You say pretending to wipe away a tear. "Now you've just gotten sloppy, Gary." You say using his name. Then cover your mouth quickly. Pretending to look guilty. "Opps, I've gone and said your name. What am to do?" you ask him. He doesn't answer though. He's too frightened to.
"What's wrong unable to speak." You say mockingly. "You know, I really watched over you. Thinking of how interesting it would be to kill someone like you. I mean don't
get me wrong I've killed other murders before, but you just seemed so different… pity. I thought that this would be fun." You sigh, standing up.
"Its times like this I had gone into just the random killing business. Not the payback for those who can't kind." You look over at Gary and shrug. "Darn…" you sigh. Then bend down to look Gary in the face. "Well, Gary it was nice talking with ya. Oh… and my names Karma not Carmen. Get it straight." You say standing up; you give him one last longing look. Then lift up your foot and smile at him. "Sorry, but karma gets everyone." You say then crush his throat with bottom of your boot.
You walk out the alley way. Hopping over to a small patch of grass. Then wipe your shoe in it. Once you've gotten most of the mess of shoe, for the mostly. You walk away and start to sing again.
What goes around.
Comes around.
What goes up,
Must come down.
But then that's Karma for you…
