Sleeping, Dreaming
Lucifer Hisaki

The baby lies in its cradle
Silent to the world
Sleeping, Dreaming
Out of this world

The babe remains peaceful
Quiet, untroubled
There is no need to cry just yet
No hunger to quell
Just the peaceful lure of the organ
To soothe the soul

Angels look down
With tears in their eyes
Flowers decorate the room
A woman cries

The white dress and the white blanket
A white cradle with white flowers
The candles and lamps glow in mourning

As the priest begins to close the lid
The others bow their heads
The baby eyes are closed
Sleeping, dreaming

Now and forever
