Spiffy Info:

Pairings: You wish don't you?

Warnings: This chapter is really bad…It's just a character introduction and I failed it.

Music: Coin Operated Boy by Dresden Dolls-he is…what a slut.

Saying: Property by animedorkette

About this chapter: Well, this is where you get to meet Caleb. He's what gets Travis riled up, so, I guess you could say he's the drama maker. I hope he turns out to be a good character (in the reader's eyes); he's not as mean as he seems.

As you all know, I don't own Pez, but whatever…I've got permission.

Just for the record: This is FICTIONAL. If it really happened, do you think, I, would have access to such information? Hell no. No one would even think of giving me a glance. So no, this isn't real. If you are offended by what is to happen…please go. I hate being told not to write what I don't know… And the characters/settings/plot/etc. are mine (unless otherwise appointed). Amazing isn't it?

Collar Me Café

-The Coin Operated Boy-

Travis turned away from the cold glare. His face heated in embarrassment. Unsure what to do or say he scratched the back of his head. "O-okay…" he mumbled.

Derek applied more weight to the boy, hissing into his ear as he did so. "You really don't want to make a scene Caleb," he pinched at the skin. "It'd be wise to simply smile and nod.

Caleb winced. "You're telling me about making a scene?" Caleb asked bitterly. "You're one to talk." The snide comment earned him a twist of the arm. He yelped sharply but was quick to quiet down after that. "Fine just get off." He muttered.

Derek stood and pulled Caleb to his feet. He brushed the boy off; his placid smile washed over Travis like a breath of fresh air. "Now then, Travis this is Caleb he'll be showing you around the café." He smiled again seeing the young boy twitch. "It's okay Amber he won't bite." His hand sneaked to Spots neck. "Isn't that right boy?" his hand slid into the boys own for a brief moment.

"Right," Caleb growled under his breath. Clenching his fist tightly and cramming it into his pocket, he pulled himself painfully away from Derek's grasp. "Let's go Amber," he said in a touchy tone. He grabbed the kid by his wiry wrist and pulled him away not looking back at his master once. "Can you at least try and keep up?" he asked once out of Derek's sight.

"S-sorry!" Travis apologized as his eyes fell to the floor. Had he screwed it up with Caleb-er-Spot already? This wasn't going well. "I'm sorry I'm just….well….you see…"

Caleb let the boy go once he reached the backdoor and stepped outside. "Just stay out of Derek's view okay?" he lit a cigarette between his lips. "I'm not going to get in trouble over your ass."

"R-right!" Travis jolted. "S-Spot?" Looking up he saw the elder boy shooting him a nasty glare. "C-Caleb! Sorry!" he dropped his eyes to the floor again. "Um, I was just going to tell you, I can f-figure it out on my own. Y-you don't have to stay and help me."

He couldn't stand the feeling of the others gaze burning into him. Yet his curiosity had gotten the better of him as he looked up, reminded of the black eye patch the man wore. He just stared up at it, his curious gaze annoying the elder who turned away.

"I have a job to do kid and trust me," he sneered. "A runt like you could never figure out how to work this café." He dropped his cigarette and stomped it out. "I don't even know why a stupid runt like you tried to get a job like this….you don't have a clue what you've gotten yourself into, do you?" He looked Travis up and down, inspecting his body. "You've got what it takes to work here though."

Travis didn't like the tone in Caleb's voice as he said that. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked. "You know it's not like I wanted this job!" he bit his bottom lip. "For your information it wasn't my choice to work here…"

"Tsh," Caleb pushed himself off the wall. "No one does, not at first." He stretched a bit exposing his taut stomach. "Hell some don't even live to make it out." He scratched the back of his head, yawning to himself. "Well I guess I'd better show you what to do…let's go."

Sitting in the back room Caleb pulled a few odd items out. It almost seemed like Travis was going through an orientation. He looked up as Caleb handed him two menus and a set of cards. There were three cards to be exact; one copper, one silver, one gold. Travis stared blankly; they were exactly alike besides the colors. Blinking a bit he looked up at Caleb.

"Before you ask I'm going to explain," he cut in. He put out the cigarette he possessed. "See that second menu?" he asked nodding towards the second, smaller folder. "If a customer slips you one of these," he holds up one of the cards. "You give them this." He again nodded to the smaller folder. "Is that clear?"

"So…wait, how am I supposed to do that again?" Travis asked. His face was twisted in confusion. "If I get a menu they get a card?"

Caleb stared at Travis who smiled back weakly. Sighing and rubbing his temples Caleb pulled a seat out. "It's going to be a long night…"

Caleb and Travis ended up closing that night-which in turn meant Caleb was to drive Travis back to his Masters house after work. Okay, technically he was Master of them both; Caleb had his own place somewhere probably…maybe one of the fancy apartments they were passing by. Or maybe he had a house-a family he stayed with-a girlfriend? Either way…

Caleb pulled into the driveway and turned off the car. He looked over a Travis who was fidgeting in his seatbelt. "Do you plan on getting out or do you want to sleep in the trunk?" Caleb snapped. "Hurry up will you."

"Oh yeah, sorry!" Travis jumped before undoing his belt. Well, he tried, at least. "I-I think it's stuck…" he explained. "I can't get it on, open…." He wriggled with the buckle. 'Oh please let me out!' he shouted in his mind. 'Just let me get out of this car before the situation gets worse!' He fumbled with the buckle again, cursing under his breath. Just as he was about to throw his hands down and give up, he saw Caleb get up out the corner of his eye.

Travis looked up to see Caleb shift and grab the buckle. "You have to jiggle it like this," he informed. Holding down the release button he gave it a small jerk and it popped out of place. "It's an old car so it has small problems like that. Next time just ask." He turned away from the youth and opened his door. "Are you coming or not?" he asked heading up the walkway.

"Y-yeah!" Travis again stammered. He jumped out of the car and ran to catch up with Caleb. Once they reached the door Travis looked up to the man. "T-thanks for the ride home, and it was nice meeting you. I look forward to working with you Caleb." Oddly he held his hand out to him. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow I guess."

Caleb cocked an eyebrow at him. "Will you just shut up and move? It's freezing out here and I'm hungry." He shoved past Travis and walked into the house, slamming the door on the boys face. Outside Travis was sitting with his hand still out in front of him. "What just happened?" he asked no one in particular. He turned to the door and opened it; poking his head inside. "H-hello, Master, I'm home."

Derek walked out drying off his hands. "Oh hey, I didn't hear you guys pull up." He smiled. "Dinner is almost ready so why don't you wash up?"

"Lamb quite playing with your food," Derek noted. He looked up to the others sitting at the table. "So how was your first day Amber?"

It took a moment before Travis realized he was being addressed. "It was fine," he whispered. His eyes shifted to Caleb who was calmly picking at his lima beans. "I was wondering though, um, will I be on the Pet menu as well?" After he spoke those words an uncomfortable silence fell over the room. Travis looked around. Had he did something wrong again? "I-I'm sorry." He panicked. "It's just-well-I saw everyone else on there and though maybe I would be too. I mean, if they are I should too. I want to earn my keep around here-"

"May I be excused?" Caleb suddenly stood up, almost snapping as he spoke those words. "I'm not hungry anymore," he noted as he glanced to Travis. The younger boy stopped and glared slightly. Receiving a nod from Derek, Caleb turned his scowling face away from Travis and left the room.

"What was that about?" Travis asked. "All I said was I wanted to earn my keep around here."

"Don't let him ruin your dinner." Derek raised his glass. "After all tonight we celebrate you." Travis looked shyly at his plate. "To Amber, a new Pet and a new member to the family." He smiled in a way that made Travis' heart jump. "To whom I would give my life."

"You'll be sharing a room with Lamb; I hope that won't be a problem?" Derek cocked his head to Travis who blushed and shook his head. "Well then, have a good night and I'll see you in the morning. Come on Bunny," he took the young girl by the hand and led her down the hall.

"Bed time, bed time!" Lamb danced about the room in his pajamas. "Come on lets go to bed!" he grabbed Travis by the arm and pulled him down on the king sized mattress. He cuddled on the boy with a smile. "Yay! I've got a roommate again! Warm!" he nuzzled up to the boy, his breath blowing on his neck.

Travis smiled and chuckled softly. He'd gotten to know Lamb quite a bit that night and decided he enjoyed the hyper-but good intentioned-boys company. "So how long have you been working here?" he asked. He wasn't exactly tired and Lamb was anything but. "I mean as a Pet?"

"A couple of years," Lamb replied as he stroked Travis' hair. "I'll be able to leave when I turn eighteen though." He nuzzled against the blushing boy. "And you too, unless you're like Caleb and then…"

"And then what?" Travis asked. He waited a moment. "Lamb?" He sat up and looked down at the boy nestled into him. His eyes were shut, his lips slightly parted, his chest rising to his exhales of breath. Travis smiled. "Never mind…" he whispered as he turned off the bedside lamp and curled into his new sleeping partner.

"Caleb! H-hang on!" Travis stumbled out of the bathroom pulling on his required 'uniform'. "C-Caleb wait!" He pulled on the oversized gloves and kitty ear. "Lamb come on, we're going to be late!" He rushed past the room just as the other came out and sent them both toppling down the steps. "Ah!"

Caleb looked down upon the two who lay in a rumpled heap on the floor. "Quit playing around and let's go." He walked away leaving Travis to help Lamb to his feet, glaring at his back the whole time.

Once they reached the café Caleb shoved the two out of the car. He didn't even look and make sure he didn't hurt them-nope-he just walked off! "Jerk," Travis muttered as Lamb and himself made their way inside. He looked up frowning to see Derek who smiled serenely. Travis blushed and looked away feeling embarrassed getting caught glaring at his boss. "G-good morning Derek-I mean-Nushi-sama!" Travis bowed his head. "Stupid…" he mumbled under his breath.

Derek laughed as he grabbed Travis by the hand. "You don't have to panic Amber, its okay." He pulled the boy to the cash register. "This is where I'm going to start you off okay?" He titled his head just slightly, smiling playfully. Travis nodded. "Alright." He turned around and blinked a bit confused. "Didn't you get a ride with Lamb and Spot?" he asked.

"U-yeah." He looked away again so he wouldn't be caught muttering. "He's here so-" Before he could finish his sentence Lamb came up sucking on a lollipop and holding out a card. "Um…"

"It's for Caleb," the Russian explained. "I just need to sign him out for the day."

"The whole day?" Derek asked surprised. "Hm, guess it is a good thing to have kept him on." He smiled at Travis as the boy did as told. "Well, now you don't have to see him all day? Not a big loss there huh?" He asked.

Travis looked away. So he'd been busted on his little rant after all. He watched Caleb talking to the customer, his body language completely different than before. It was almost….sexual. Travis blinked as his cheeks reddened. "Um, Lamb, what exactly is Caleb going to be doing…when he's with that...man?"

Lamb made a face. "Do you really have to ask?" he wrinkled his nose. "He can do whatever he pleases, Caleb made the gold card so…" he snatched it back and skated over to the man, placing it on the table as he headed for another. "Welcome to Pet Perks," he began.

But Travis didn't pay him any attention as the man groped at Caleb's bottom. His eyes widened as he watched the young mans back arch, his dark eye catching sight of Travis. He didn't break the gaze though, instead he took his hand and placed it over the mans with a smirk. It looked as if he asked, shall we go? but Travis couldn't be too sure. Either way the man stood and made his way past Travis though he paid him no mind. Not like Caleb who glared as he passed. What made Travis' heart stop though were the angered words that followed.

"It's a living," he hissed. "You'll get used to it once you're out on the floor Amber."

-The Coin-Operated Boy-

Maxwell: Oh this chapter was horrible. There was a lot of back and forth so...Oh well, yes, that is Caleb. He's a jerk but I love him! I don't care if you do or don't. Like I don't care what you think of this chapter. I updated and it came out really bad but…I updated. I needed Caleb and I needed to somehow get in the fact why he is the Coin-Operated Boy. But just to make it easy…he will do anything for money. And do you know why? Yeah, go ahead and tell me your thoughts on it. And I'm not up for reviews so….eh. Thanks though.
