Release

A knife…

It was beautiful,

Sharp, untainted, glowing,

Powerful, undying, murderous…

A bitter smile…

…so much like him…

The feel of metal against flesh…

She closed her eyes…

…so much like him

Wonderful, alluring,

Painful, revolting

I don't want to stop

A soft murmur from soft lips

She dug deeper

Biting into more flesh

Sighing with pleasure

Screaming with inner pain

…she stopped

The release this had offered…

…gone…no longer existence

Tears…

One…then another…

Mingling with blood

A sharp pain in her stomach

…a sharp gasp of surprise…

One last bitter smile…

Blood staining her dress

This was her release…

It hurts…I wrote this out on paper first then typed it. I don't know why…my poems are normally morbid but not like this. Anyway, review and tell me what you get.
