Everything positive has become forbidden,
taken away from me and so easily hidden,
I don't know what to do anymore,
so now I'm here broken down sobbing on the floor.
Human thoughts are so desperate to be thought,
all hands on deck the iron I've wrought,
centuries have passed before we knew it,
you were too naive to know you blew it.
*Sure he loves you,
Sure he cares,
but you don't know what he does,
when you're not there.
You blame your friends for telling you
what you should already know,
but you're too blind to realize
that all you reap is what you sow.*
Tenderness so forcefully driven,
kisses so innocently given,
in the darkness lust you share,
surrendering emotions you never knew were there.
Belied beneath the blankets now,
you feel so warm with him and you wonder how,
could he ever lie to you, ever in his life?
could he hide behind you and work his lovely lies?
*Sure he loves you,
Sure he cares,
but you don't know what he does,
when you're not there.
You blame your friends for telling you
what you should already know,
but you're too blind to realize
that all you reap is what you sow.*
So before you end this paragraph,
heed my unspoken thoughts,
you may now know what's happening,
but the love you think is there, may not.
