A Sonnet to Dream Angst

Oh lost is he who art inside my mind,
A hidden world I while I sleep
The colors swirls, and lines twirl 'round in kind
Lost here I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
The dream-world beacons from afar- I hear
the pleading cry for sanity that screams
In the dreamland I can go far or near
To nightmare, rainbow, hillside in these dreams.
Reliving past and future through the haze,
Sometimes the messages offers me release.
I suffer through time awake in days,
I crave the tantalizing inner peace.
I wish what dreams reveal let me see,
I wish these dreams could truly set me free.
