This is my first story (or better tell poem) to be submitted here at this website. So, it would be nice to receive some reviews, about how you think my lil' poem was. Okay?
Title: Why cannot you see?
Why cannot you see?
She was so pure, so naïve, so free
Nobody helped her…
Nobody saved her…
She just wanted to leave
And you didn't believe.
She just wanted to be
And you just saw her give in.
Grabbing a knife she cried
Screaming for life she died.
And you just sat and watch
Never letting her to be catch
Why cannot you see?
She was so dead, so lonely and not free
Never remembering, her name,
Elizabeth I-want-to-be.
So, how was it? I know it was short; after all I did it at history class. Reading this poem again, I can only think that it is about unriquire love. You know, a lonely girl liking this boy and he not answering to her pleads of love. And so she suicides herself. Or a girl who wants to be unique and nobody lets her. I know…pretty dark, huh? Please Review and tell me what you think.
