The Shining Light

Such beauty, such grace, such gentle nature

How smooth, how tender, what a strange little creature?

Fur soft and crimson, warm to the touch

Bushy tail, tickling whiskers, nose that smells so much

And those eyes of Shining Light, that take in all

Eyes of Shining Light that make all seem small

Small and safe and warm in their embrace

Eyes that inquisitive, ever do face

The future, the past, the present altogether

Measuring them all despite their bad Weather

Such beauty, such grace, such sweet personality

How fiery, how passionate, is this reality?

Hair fragrant and golden, silken to my hand

Slender waist, full lips, voice that carries me to a fantasy land

And those eyes of Shining Light, that take me in all

Eyes of Shining Light that make me seem small

Small and safe and warm in your embrace

Eyes that loving, ever do face

Our future, our past, our present altogether

Holding them all despite their bad Weather

Such beauty, such grace, such divine Majesty!

How loving, how knowing, how powerful is He?

Fur soft and crimson, warm to the touch

Bushy tail, tickling whiskers, nose that smells so much

Hair fragrant and golden, silken to my hand

Slender waist, full lips, voice that carries me to a fantasy land

And those eyes of Shining Light that make all seem bright

Bright and glorious and without blight

Eyes that knowing, ever do hold

My future, my past, my present altogether

Staying them all despite their bad weather

Eyes of Shining Light that glow down with love

Eyes of Shining Light that gaze from above.
