Why?

Why does this happen to her?

Why is she in the middle?

Why is she the one hurting?

Is that her?

Sitting out there in the cold writing down what she feels?

Is that her?

Acting strong but in her heart she's weak?

Is that her?

Wishing she was anywhere but home?

Is that her?

It couldn't be.

She's too bleak and sad.

Is it her?

She used to be happy and full of life.

Now she's full of overwhelming anger and sadness.

It can't be her she's too different from the person I once knew.
