Silent Be Your Thoughts

And in those whispers
I heard nothing but your cries.
Unending self-righteousness'
In undertones not denied.

But I don't have pity for people like you.
All that I show is my contempt for your so called beliefs.
I look out from the inside and see that you're wrong.
There's no one to tell you because you're trapped in a dark place.

You're by yourself,
And I know there's just no way to help you.
Even if I wanted to,
You'd still be on your own.

Those wistful memories seem to drown out
The bland things you thought were true.
I hope you're happy,
Alone, cold, in that place with no sound or light.
Just living, just….

Don't drive yourself crazy, silent
Be your thoughts in a world
Where you are speaking to a crowd of one
Whose reflection you never see;
Because God don't hear whispers beyond the looking glass.
