Angel

Terrible, awful angel!

To trample on your children

To deny them your milk and blood

Watching them from you perch in the sunbeams

Negligent, uncaring angel!

Letting us wonder if you notice them

While you bury the lifeless to relax your eyes

Angel, you would surely feel from your own body

If it meant you'd be one up from them

Hurl filth at the blind while you can

Because when their eyes open, all they'll see...

Is an angel.
