Hanukkah Fairy

Christmas time is almost here…

But Santa isn't coming to town this year

Poor little kiddies

Won't be getting their gifties

For the Hanukkah Fairy shall appear

We'll see only Hanukkah cheer this year

She'llspread her whitewings

So get ready younglings

Hanukkah joy

Isn't your only toy

Blue and white lights surrounding your door

Presents she brings while you quietly snore

She doesn't place them under the Christmas tree

Only under the Hanukkah Bush, don't you see?

Watching you listen to Hanukkah songs on the radio

While you drink your glass of Manishevitz wine-o

She gracefully sits on top of your chimney

Waiting for the next day to come-ney.

Awaiting your squeals of delight

Her face aglow and a-bright

We all want to make the Fairy grin,

See her the happiest she's ever been

So come with me for a while

'Cause it's almost time to see her smile
