'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the stores

People were fighting, and breaking down doors;

The sales were soon ending; a dollar to save

'Tis not the time to be nice or behave!

The children were nestled all snug in their beds

While visions of iPods danced in their heads;

They'd settle for money, a laptop or two

Anything less would simply not do!

Then out on the lawn there arose such a clatter

The picketers were out bemoaning disaster

Saying happy holidays was simply provoking

Excluding "Christmas" is Satan invoking!

This year whether your tree Christmas or holiday be,

And gifts for the munchkins expensive or free,

Even if nothing in the world seems to be right,

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
