The Artists' Epitaph
The Empty One cries "Give me life! Fill me with meaning!"
The Artist cries "Hold Empty One, for I shall bring forth the
greatest of lives, but the Dove has not delivered its message.
Without the message, I can only give you shape, but no soul."
The Empty One's cries continue, and the Artist sits and ponders
the Dove's whereabouts.
Finally, through a window comes the white bird, singing its
message to the Artist. Grabbing the tools of life, the Empty One
is given shape, and a soul to match. The Empty One sings gleefully:
"Thank you, dear friend. I no longer feel empty, and I shall repay
you for your kindness."
Feeling a rush of accomplishment, the Artist sets out to breath life into
all the Empty spaces of the Universe.
