i feel
,my skin
is out and splayed
hung like white cotton sheets
rippling in the breeze –
it blows peachy transparent
flakes whirl through the air
simplicity in cells, nucleic minimalism
magnified under stereoscopic lenses:
it looks so big as it peels off my legs
unwraps itself from muscles, tendons
picked up by/the wind/carries
the outline of my body to another distant place
thin veins in the sunlight, illuminated designs
caught by a dandelion breath and skin
s
whisked through atmosphere blue
to be inhaled by estranged citizens
i'll never have the privilege to meet
my skin will sail on without me
fluttering, flying, alone.
