Noir Cloak
The wind blew once again…and still her tears remained.
Did this mean that…?
And, thus, I was hushed…
I then realized that she was ebbing away…slowly vanishing in the candlelight…flickering in the wind…
Good-bye…
She whispered these words in a tender voice she had not yet used in her lifetime…she was, after all, merely a spirit now…
Under the oak tree we kept a promise…and still we remain…until the end of time…
I suddenly froze and fell to the ground…the coolness of blade in contact with my soft flesh…it…delighted me so…
I glanced at her and saw the stained-blood blade shining in her hand…
The leaves on the forest floor I have lain on were now all covered with my blood…
Let these leaves be a reminder, for they have seen my parting…
She stood up and turned away…I could see tears falling to her cheeks…
My faithlessness to the one I had once loves had its price…with my remaining strength, I whispered a few words that I hoped would be forever etched in the breeze that would constantly guide her…
"I'm sorry…"
