Poor Dead Erica
As she wanders endlessly
Through her second home the cemetery
She thinks of this place so fondly as
Where her fathers buried
If you think the cemetery
At midnights scary
Then as she slashed the roots of her veins
At the foot of her fathers grave
Would you cry?
As she died
As she fell crawled into
Eternal damnation
Would it be hard for you to believe?
For her this is a revelation.
As the blood soaked into the ground
And she hoped shed die if she wasn't found
All she wished for was a little bit of attention
Her intentions were pure
She barely even knew her father
But at least his grave made a perfect marker
And she was found
Her fingers blue uneven cross the ground
Would you cry?
As she died
As she fell crawled into
Eternal damnation
Would it be hard for you to believe?
For her this is a revelation.
Had she won?
She'd finally set her toll on America
Everyone grieved
Oh poor dead Erica
But she never wanted to know
What death was like so close
At the end of the road
She wished she'd just gone home
