The rain washes the

Tiny

Red-dye

Perfect-delicate

Hearts from your sleeves

But you don't notice,

You're too wrapped up in not-yourself.

I wish I could forget myself

And dance the way you do

Spinning through crystal clear rain

In the chaotic world of tears

I wish I could look out

And smile the way you do

With eyes that shine

With clover-kissed wishes

I just wish that I could feel

The rain in the way that you do.

(Because I know it will never

Touch my soul like that, however hard I try)

And maybe I blinked for a moment,

But didn't you have raindrop wings?

Maybe I'm just too human.

Or maybe you're just someone else's angel.

It's a long time since I've written a full length poem, so I'm a bit rusty. As always, CC is appreciated. ;o)
