3AN. Just so everyone knows… in the beginning of the story the girl's brother asks if she wants him to sleep with her. Just so I don't lose readers prematurely. This is not a story about incest or… romantic love between siblings. They are merely VERY close. I know for most people this was unnecessary but… just so everyone's clear. .
"Prologue"
A small girl with long, dusty brown hair bent over a backpack as she put her things away. She was about to get in bed and was making sure that everything she needed for tomorrow wouldn't be forgotten.
"Lilian," a male voice said and her twin brother walked into her room.
She looked up at him and their identical green eyes locked.
"Do you want me to sleep with you tonight?" he asked sleepily and Lily smiled.
Except for the secondary sex characteristics that set them apart as female and male, they were identical, as identical as mirror images of each other. Lily wrote with her right hand while he wrote with his left; they had identical freckles with his on the left side and hers on her right side. Everything down to the dark spots in their eyes and their fingerprints were exact mirror images.
"No thank you," she replied softly and he nodded sleepily.
"Alright, Lily," he said and walked over to her and kissed her on the head. "Sleep tight. See you in the morning, little sister."
"You too, Alexavier," Lily said, smirking as she said his full first name.
Alex smirked back and they both smiled at each other before Alex left Lily's room, closing the door behind him.
She regretted that decision and the decisions that followed that night for longer than anyone else even remembered them.
Overall it's the little things that doom.
AN. I know it's short. Sorry but the first chapter is going slow and the only time I have to write is in school and I'm being kind of picky about this story. This is only a first draft and I probably shouldn't post it but I won't have time to fix it right now so… that will be done when I finish the story. (In an attempt to avoid the constant nit-picking that keeps me from finishing all my other stories.)
Review please. (btw. I'll try to pick up some of my old stories too but… I'm more concentrated on this.)
