Angelic Slayings of a Night

Whilst all angels are sleeping, he comes, a demon in the night,
swathed in cloak as dark as death to deny white wings their flight.
Creep slowly by their bedside; billowed curtains in the wind,
Whilst ravaging their minds, stealing souls that have not sinned.
Foul breath whispering words of deep longing and desire,
Wrap tentacles around their minds, lighting their souls on fire.
Burning from the inside out, from his fire they cannot hide.
His tormenting eyes instill fear so, you couldn't fight him if you tried.
Elated in his ecstasy, sucking your life blood dry,
Watching you squirm in misery, no unshed tears bar silent cry.
He's drunk upon the smell of fear – you bleed for hope forever gone,
painting your soul (scarred and alone), and your heart in two minds torn.
Grieving within the clutch of sleep; "you won't feel it anymore"
Ragged breath sound from the deep; "in fact you'll cease to feel at all."
Her taste was sweet as torment, dead tears graced forlorn lashes,
The devil inside her burns with spite – her spirit lies in ashes.
"Poor pale forsaken Angel, sleep now until eternity
See how your God deceives you! Heaven shall not remember thee"
So easy to seduce with dreams, much more enticing to destroy
So innocent once long ago, fragile mind crushed by thy ploy.
I listened to your fears, I fed off your desires
the dark entities within your mind that fed your passion's fires.
so easy it was to take your mind, off thy malevolence it feeds
To manipulate your very thoughts, to mould them to my needs
Such a beautiful creature, of light thou was born
Yet your god let you suffer this ridicule and scorn.
No-one was here to save you….
Poor pale forsaken Angel, sleep now until eternity
See how your God deceives you! Heaven shall not remember thee"
Evil smirk, his deed now done, the devil inside granted his greed;
Eyes ablaze; your fear he's smelt and now this warning you must heed.

Hide before he finds you…..

A/N I particularly like this one... I don't know why, but I think it can be interpreted many ways, and I love the hidden meanings and messages. Review!
