Circles
A final russet leaf which falls to the earth,
Blends in, like sand in the desert.
That single drop of rain which begins a storm
And fills the never-ending ocean.
The stream of sunlight in early morn,
Which fuses with the light in the room.
The fresh air that rushes in a whirlwind
And joins the air already surrounding you.
Everything, one and the same,
A circle of life, death and light.
We are all alike, you and me,
Recognise this circle, and live by it.
