A shrill scream escaped the young woman's lips as a deadly gash formed in the back of her neck. The young man whom had swiped his sword at her sheathed said weapon, the shrill screech ringing out against the silence in the dark forest, as men got on their horses and rode off into the darkness. Little did they know, under the woman whom they had killed's robe lie a young infant, born three weeks before, yet immense power growing in the strong young girl. A young boy, the girl's brother, who the men had not seen, went over to the baby girl and picked her up. At that second, a crescent moon glowed on the infant's head, the power of Luna, and the unnamed girl was taken into the care of her older brother, into his protective arms. At that minute, the boy knew that the girl must be named after his mother, the goddess of the moon, Luna. He jumped on his horse, a grey stallion with a star on its head. Stella was its name, a mystical horse whom had a power unknown, so great a power that if anyone was to find out besides the young boy and his infant sister, doom could come to the young stallion had the power of ice, as his owner did.
Along with Stella, a small grey creature with black wings on its back, a star also in its head followed the boy. This boy was not just an ordinary boy. The boy, a prince, had the male power of the universe, the power of the stars, only gained by the son of the queen. The daughter, Luna in this case, would have the power of the moon, the female power as her mother had.
A flaw in this was in the form of a prophesy, one that could decide the fate of the universe. The seventh daughter of the crescent moon may lead the universe to its doom. Sent to the earth, she shall portray a man, and a daughter shall win the war once again. But if all goes wrong and she loses the fight, themoon shall lose it's light.
The boy and his sister, along with his guardian, rode off into the night, the young boy silently praying not to see any more of the evil men who killed his mother.
Revenge would be his, and the moon would be at peace once more, he swore to himself as they rode on, and a new adventure begun, one that would decide the destiny of the universe.
