If life could be simple for a 17-year-old girl then things would be a lot easier. Say for instance the guy that I like would totally go after me and not my best friend who acts like my friend to my face but doesn't behind my back. Then her parents wouldn't be all over her for everything that she does. They wouldn't always be down her throat for things that she doesn't do. If life could be simple for a 17-year-old girl…then what would life be?
Hi I'm Alana and I'm 17 years old, I'm a junior in high school and I love it...except for all the drama that is always going on. High school is all about who is going out with whom and what they are doing together. Anyways, sorry about that, I tend to babble when I get mad about something. I have a small family of four. Me, my dad, my mom and my little bother. My dad is Alan and he is a Surgery tech, my mom is Barbara and she is a nursing assistant and my little brother is Wade, he is nine and he is in 3rd grade.
Anyways, my best friend Bishop and she is my age. Ever since we were babies we have been the best of friends. Our moms were good friends in high school and they had us about a month apart from one another. We have always been like sisters. I'm a month older than she is but you would never know that. She has always been there for me through everything and I have always tried to be there for her through everything. Three years ago both of her parents died in tragic car accidents where they were hit head on by a drunk driver, so my parents just naturally let her move in with us; so we are almost literally like sisters. She has a boyfriend named John Thurman whom she has been dating for 1 year and 3 months. He is 18 years old and I honestly think he is going to purpose to her on Junior Prom night. Me, on the other hand, I am single and loving it. I do have a huge crush on this guy named Chris Cameron who is 19 years old and plays football for the college in town, and OH MY GOD is he HOTT.
"Hey Alana what going on?" asked Chris.
"Hey Chris, not to much just waiting for Spring break to hurry up and get here. What about you?"
"About the same. So what is u doing over Spring break?"
"Bishop and I are going to go to Casa Mel or Cancun we cant really decide. We are thinking about just going to both. What are you going to be doing?"
"Well I can't really decide. Do you think that maybe John and me can go with you all to wherever you go?"
"Well…I don't really have a problem with it, but let me talk to Bishop and see what she thinks about it. I know she said something about wanting to have a girls week so let me see and then I will get back to you."
"Okay, I understand let me give you my number and then u can give me a call when you find something out okay?"
"Yeah that would be great. Just let me grab my cell and I will put u in there."
"The number is 703-5985. Can I get your number just in case I need to give you a call or something?"
"Yeah that would fine with me. The number is 293-4970. Just call me if you need something."
"Alright I will see you later"
"Yep see you later"
Chris walked off but as he went he to get into his car he turned back and winked at me. He is so freaking HOT!
