Prologue

Working together to seek their fortunes, five mercenaries and long-time friends begin a trip to bustling Saluma City, where the guilds and businesses are always hiring.

One afternoon at the start of their journey, they find themselves the targets of a seemingly unbeatable group of trolls. Moments before the entire group's certain death, the unthinkable happens.

Fortunately, all five members of the group are rescued. Unfortunately, now they are subject to the strange, sporadic attentions of their unlikely saviors.
