Why Should it Matter?

The world is such a bitter place

But in time it could be better

Preach tolerance and good of heart

All people stand together.

Hold hands and unite

Under one great, vast sky

Customs, race and gender

Will not matter when we die.

Why should it matter now?

What do we have to gain

When we persecute each other

Human race we only maim.

What is so hard about it?

Politics and men,

They make it seem so evil

But the wicked ones are them.

So make the world a better place

Stand together and be brave

Don't forget what and who you are

The future path you'll pave.
