A/N: please RR. I wrote this chapter some time last week.

"Okay…stop. Open your eyes." Said John, after removing the blind-fold. Letting go of Chelsea's hand, he went to tie up their horses to the near-by tree.

They were standing on a cliff with the waves pounding at the rocks far below. In the distance, the water was sparkling on the water for as far as the eye could see.

"Oh John, it's beautiful." Chelsea said in absolute awe of the scene that was before her. She turned around when John took her hand and led her back to the picnic basket.

Together they spread the blanket out on the grass and put the food out on it. Chelsea glanced around for the puppy and spotted him playing with Morgan's tail. She couldn't help but laugh when Star came up behind the puppy and nudged him with her nose. John joined in when he saw what Chelsea was laughing at.

After the pup had enough fun with the two horses, he wandered over to where Chelsea and John were eating and curled down to have a nap. When they had finished eating, they cleaned up and decided to go for a walk.

Leaving the horses to baby-sit the dog, they followed a path that an animal had made a day or two ago. After about three minutes of walking in silence, John stopped Chelsea, got down on one knee and said, " Chelsea, darling. Will you marry me and become my wife?"

Surprised, Chelsea took a minute to respond. "John. I'd be happy to marry you." Unable to control her happiness, she gave him a huge hug, causing the two of them to lose their balance and tumble into the grass. John took a little box out of his pocket and silently put one on his finger and then one on his fiancé's finger.

Taking her hand again, they continued on their walk for about three more minutes before they decided to go back to their picnic, because it was starting to get windy and cold and it was starting to rain. They both started running when the wind picked up speed. By the time they got back to the picnic spot, they were both soaked.

"John, I have to go home. Father is expecting me to be back for supper with a friend. I had a wonderful time with you today, but if I don't leave now, I'll be late. I'm sorry." Said Chelsea.

John nodded in understanding and went to help his fiancé onto her horse. Once she was up, he took her hand and kissed it. "Goodbye darling, I hope that you will come back soon. I love you." He said, letting go of her hand.

Waving good-bye, Chelsea turned her horse around and headed for home. She had gone about three miles when a thunderclap came and spooked her horse, causing her to run. When a rabbit crossed paths with the spooked horse, Star reared and knocked Chelsea to the ground. When Chelsea hit the ground, her head met with a stone and she was knocked unconscious. Calmed down, Star approached her owner; curious as to why she wasn't getting up.

Back at the picnic spot, John had finished cleaning up and was getting on his horse to go home, when the puppy got scared, by the same thunderclap that spooked Chelsea's horse, and ran in the same direction that Chelsea had taken. John went after the puppy, trusting Morgan to find the runaway. Morgan found the puppy, lying beside Chelsea. John got of his horse, feeling around on the ground with his hands for the puppy, he touched Chelsea's arm. When a lightning sheet illuminated the sky, the scene of what happened was revealed to John. Carefully, he lifted Chelsea's head from the rock and set her head on the grass. Thinking fast, he tore off a piece of the picnic blanket and wrapped it around her head to try and stop the bleeding.

Back at John's house, beside a nice warm fire, Chelsea started waking up. Glancing around the room, she wondered where she was. John walked in with a bowl of warm water and some cloth to change the pads on Chelsea's head. Seeing that she was awake, he asked, "How are you feeling today, beautiful?"

"Who are you?" asked Chelsea. "Where am I? And what are you doing with those?" she asked, pointing at the bowl and cloths.
