It's very nice to fool yourself
In a cherry sauce coated ginger dream,
Time and time again,
Even when you should by now
Know better.

So take your time, imagine
That this is the time, the one,
The break
You've been waiting for,
And wallow in the liquid sunlight,
But don't be too surprised
To fall through the floor.

Sit back, ride it out,
Because the end will come regardless,
And don't pretend to know results,
Even though it isn't too much different
Every time.
