She was neither a tomboy

Nor a proper girl

Came home covered in mud

With a bucket of frogs

Afraid to miss tea time with dolly

They say she was at school each day

Whether or not people saw her

She was always there

Never noticed, no one cared

She was never seen never heard

But yet she remembers it all

Until one day

She moved away

And people began to wonder

Was she ever here at all
