This morning I painted my face:
The mask I show the world.
Insecure in my own space,
I'm a one-way window girl.
Now I'm hiding in a crowd,
And I fill out my mask-
But in the music You are loud,
Rain ends our earthly bask.
Sparks and gemstones from the clouds
Falling sideways in the wind
Hot or cold, or sharp or round,
Gently washing off my skin.
In the music, people, air, and rain,
You show me love and peace again.
