I waited all night

Just to see him walk by

Another girl on his arm

His coat protecting her

From the rain

I walked for a while

Aimless streets at my feet

My heels click-clicking

Now I sit

Familiar wood under me

The comfort home brings

Absent in me

There's a light on upstairs

Mom's arms await
