I walk for miles

An endless search

I see a tree,

abranch, I perch

Then browse the landscape

for my lost love

But see nothing below

and nothing above

Another sense

on which to rely

brings a tiny bit of hope

and a tear to my eye

I hear your voice

but can't touch your cheek

I've been lost for

alonely week

I know your arms

would guide me home

but they're amputated

So this emptiness, I roam
